Wildflower & Dust Hits #1 on the Americana Chart — A Letter to the Fans

The call came while the bus was idling outside a truck stop east of Memphis. Wildflower & Dust had opened at number one on the Americana albums chart.

That number belongs to the rooms that played it: the porches, the night drives, the record shops that still let you hear a side before you buy it. Dave Cobb kept us honest in Studio A. Sierra Ferrell walked in for an afternoon and left the song bigger than we had written it.

If you are holding the vinyl, play side two after the house is quiet. The closer was the last thing we tracked, and it still sounds like the hallway outside the live room.

We will see you down the road.
